But what if you're burdened with a great responsibility without the "great powers" in the equation. And don't answer me with faith, hope or courage for now, I might smack you from where you are seating. December 21 Busy As A BeerYou guessed it right, this is my only setback during the happy holidays! Seemingly endless nights of adulterated drinking. More cashflow means more alcohol with my name on it. And what did I get to show for it? Another beer belly to burn and blood shut eyes. If this is what I have to go through to re-kindle old friendships... then so be it. Last entry for 2008. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to y'all. May 03 One Day OnlyNice to see Pops again for a long time. We had lunch, a little talk on some personal stuffs. We're just both happy to see that we're both doing fine. And honestly, I'm a bit surprised when he's amazed on how taller and bigger I got. Hahaha! It was great even though we talked only for a good hour or so and I forgot to mention to him that I have a tattoo. A taboo for some, hopefully not to the old man.
Bidding farewell to him was a tough one. I have to wait again for how many months or years to get together with Pops. Take care Pops! Oh, and also, get laid. It's good for your heart. April 13 ChillIt will be almost 2 weeks since I had taken my last RD and I can really feel the stress grabbing me by the neck.
I don't know for some reason I suddenly had the need to render OT hours taking my previous RDs as well. And the weird part is that I really don't need more cash flow at this time. I guess it's just the heat wave this summer that is just keeping me from staying home and relaxing, in other words doing nothing. So I'll ask myself, why do nothing when I can be 4+ hours richer working.
Then here comes my next problem. The heat out on the streets is the same on how cold it is inside the production floor. I mean it literally gives you a headache. This is actually my first time getting headaches from a temperature-controlled environment. I think I can manage the stress of doing extended work hours but this freaking artificial North Pole climate is making things difficult. I guess this will belong to my "Forget about It" list.
Note to self. Get a much thicker jacket... oh... and chill. |
